Wow, what a rush. At the moment, I am doing a lot of stuff for This Is Fake DIY and am putting the finishing touches to GRACE #1. The sun is currently not out. It is November, after all.

Phew! After a long hard battle, I have got the internet in my new flat in Liverpool. Service shall continue as usual. The sun is out and there's an ice cream van permanently selling ice creams in the vicinity, so at least the weather is pleasant. I'm looking for more places to contribute to, so there will be updates in that regard.

The European Capital of Culture 2008 isn't exciting 24/7. That's why I update this.

Following the rip-roaring return of 'Brianstorm', 'Fluorescent Adolescent' seems a safer choice of single. Here is some friendly, guitar-driven pop that wouldn't seem out of place next to selections from The Strokes' back catalogue or the recent offerings from The Cribs.

Although early releases ‘i am xRAY’ and ‘The Grid’ are tuneful and hold proceedings together admirably, the limitations found when navigating lo-fi instruments have emerged unavoidably here - it’s all too easy to say that everything sounds samey. It doesn’t, of course, and it’s refreshing to see such a take on electronic music not witnessed at this level for a while. At least To My Boy won’t have to go back to the drawing board. They’ve got computers for those kinds of things nowadays.
